As part of Red Ribbon Week 2011, Emporians for Drug Awareness and
The Regional Prevention Center of the Flint Hills is pleased to
bring you an educational program entitled:
"Be Aware. Don't Share.".
The epidemic of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drug abuse
and what YOU should know to protect your family.

Red Ribbon Week 2011 holds some sweet deals for the community!
Emporians for Drug Awareness has announced the new Red Ribbon Week
theme for 2011: Life is Sweet
Drug Free! Red
Ribbon Week is celebrated annually during the last week in October
as a way to focus on the efforts that occur in communities year
around to prevent the use of illegal substances and the abuse of
legal substances. The chocolate ribbons will be available beginning
October 4 from any EDA Board Member or by calling 341-2450. The
board hopes to sell the ribbons through the holiday season. Read

Keep It A Safe Summer (K.I.S.S.)
will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Lyon County Fairgrounds
from 5:30 - 8:00 P.M.
Over 50 agencies are expected to provide information on organized
activities for youth, as well as general safety information. Fun
family activities will be provided, as well as entertainment, free
food and door prizes.
